Dentistry Certification and Licensure in Canada

There are two pathways to certification as a general dentist in Canada for graduates of International dentistry programs (e.g. BDS, MDS from India, Middle east etc.):

• Successful completion of an accredited Qualifying/Degree Completion Program (2 year DDS program for Internationally trained dentists)

• Successful completion of the NDEB Equivalency Process

Eligibility Criteria

• Completed BDS or MDS with atleast 1 year of work experience.
